Book + Bottle is one of my favorites because if feels like a second home to me! Books, wine, coffee - I mean, what could be better! If I want a yummy gluten free treat, Craft Kafe is my go-to. I will often do a business planning session with myself there over a quiche or tart and pour-over coffee. My husband and I are self-proclaimed foodies so we venture out to a lot of great restaurants, but I'd say one of my favorites is Wild Child. Their cocktails are top notch and their food is unique, with the menu changing seasonally, so you get to try new stuff all the time. “

“Being a St. Pete native, there are a lot of places I love! One of my favorites I always go back to is Sunken Gardens. I have fond memories growing up going here and it's such a unique getaway among the local hustle and bustle. You are taken into another world through gardens that have been curated for 100 years. It's a great place to destress and do some yoga, have a picnic or visit my favorite, their resident Flamingos! My favorite go-to eatery locally is Alesia. It is a French Vietnamese fusion restaurant on the West side of St Pete right before the beaches. They have a beautiful patio area that is hung with lights and climbing bright fuchsia Bougainvillea. My favorite dishes are their Pho's, grilled pork bánh mì, which is served on a fresh baked french baguette and for desert their must have is a homemade chocolate banana pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. It's a great place for a date night or girls night out. You will feel like you are on vacation for the night!”

“My favorite spots in St. Pete include the following:

- St Pete Pier: where you can eat, walk, and play all in one spot. They did a wonderful job with this multi-year remodel and it's a fabulous spot to go explore.
- North and South Straub Park: beautiful spot downtown St. Pete right near the Pier and dining that we love. I was proposed to near the Banyan Trees
- Beach Dr: some of my favorite restaurants overlook the Straub Park area from Beach Dr.
- Central Ave: some of my other favorite businesses and restaurants are along Central
- Book+Bottle: my favorite book shop, coffee, tea, and wine spot in St. Pete, also another BC member-owned business”

“As a Boston girly, I have had the pleasure to hit up St. Pete a few times and have not been disappointed.

Coffee, books, wine… I am heading to Book + Bottle.

For a good burger and a beer, you’re definitely finding me at Engine No. 9.

For a touristy spot, I had a great time at Sunken Gardens. It was really pretty and they have Flamingos!”

“St. Pete is literally a bundle of fun and adventure with so much to choose from! For the foodie adventurer, I recommend Sushi Sho Rexley for a full evening experience or Twisted Indian for a quick, mouth-watering bite. For the art lover and walking enthusiast, my favorites are the SHINE Murals that are scattered throughout the city (this is also a great way to enjoy St. Pete's diverse architecture!). And if your kiddos are in tow, the St. Pete Pier is the best spot for them to let loose!”

“I love going to the Grand Central District. It has a little bit over everything. You can get a great breakfast or lunch at Pete's Bagels, shop for books at Tombolo, snag a coffee at Black Crow and then get a few of the best beers in the Bay area at Pinellas Ale Works.”

“For going out / cocktails, I just recently experienced Lala St. Pete, a karaoke bar. It was such an incredible time! They do live karaoke downstairs, but have private rooms as well. We got a private room for 8 people for 2 hours. I'll be honest, we wanted more time! What a blast! The bar, Cocktail, is also one of my favorite places to go dancing and to see drag shows.

Two of my favorite restaurants in St. Pete are Mio's Grill and Cafe (Greek/Turkish/Mediterranean) and Zaytoon (middle eastern).

For outdoor activities, of course I have to also shout out Sunken Gardens, one of my favorite places not only for photography, but just to experience. It's truly magical especially in the cooler months. Also, Gizella Kopsick Arboretum and the pier that's right across from that park. "

Clearwater, FL

Mangosteen has fusion foods which is one of my favs with a modern, light interior design. Super atmosphere. Not too serious and not too diner-like. Piciugo Gelato, hands down the best gelato I’ve ever had and it’s down the road from home. Tables outside are great for people-watching while eating your yummy gelato. Fav gelato: Violet and Pistachio”
