"Like most people I jumped onto Clubhouse for the new opportunity to connect with others outside of my existing social media networks. I felt like I was floundering in my social media marketing, and didn't have my sales down pack.

However, I knew that if I could just speak to more people about my business and what I wanted to do I could better convey the passion I have for my work. I was strategic in my Clubhouse approach, choosing rooms that welcomed networking and weren't too large so I knew I had an opportunity to get on stage and engage in the dialogue."

“I love Clubhouse! I recommend checking out a few rooms to find your preferred size, culture, and topics. I find I really like the smaller rooms where I can contribute to topics I’m passionate about like mental health. Don’t be afraid to raise your hand or go on stage when invited. I’ve connected with people that I would never had an opportunity to before; rappers, Broadway performers, those from other countries, and many more.”

“Don't be afraid to jump on stage, whether it's asking a question or sharing insights. I've had a lot of success just networking and connecting with moderators off Clubhouse on Instagram. Finding the right groups and topics that you can contribute to will help you grow quickly and connect with other people in your industry.”

“Clubhouse helps me step out of my comfort zone talking to people in the same community and I don’t even need to worry about showing my face. 😂 I recommend collaborating with someone to co-host a room to double the value of your room!”

"I use Clubhouse to get real time feedback as to what and why a particular pain point matters to my ideal client. I listen to how they express themselves and feel in order to make it more clear in my marketing as to how I understand their needs thus making it easier to create a clear genuine connection.

My core values and strengths are connection, serve-love, and freedom so when I received multiple invites for the app it was an automatic yes. This form of content sharing is at the heart of what I do and serves my mission to help women embrace their unique story, empowering them to make their dream life and business a reality one conversation at a time.”

“Clubhouse has been a welcome addition to my social media. It’s entertaining, lively and seemingly always awake! As a lawyer, it gives me a chance to not only showcase my knowledge, but to reach the general public who just want to ask questions of an estate planning and business attorney. It is literally the best social media platform to ever happen to the legal field. We get to host rooms and collaborate with other experts in our fields in a casual setting where we don’t have to be camera-ready. To get started, get an invite (currently only iPhone users) and start taking action. You will want to join the clubhouse introduction so you understand the rules. Use your invites wisely because your name will always be linked to that person. Therefore, you want to choose people that stand up for the same things you believe in. It doesn’t have to be specific but you definitely don’t want someone that goes against everything you believe in being linked to your name!

Next, join some clubs and set forth your interest. After that you will want to form some of your own rooms (grab a few friends) so you can start gaining a following and becoming a “clubhouse expert” in your field. I encourage you to join popular rooms and definitely ask questions. You ask questions by raising your hand and being brought to the stage. When you ask questions, you get noticed and other people will follow you. Interact and have fun with it. The more you interact, the more invites you will have to pass on to your friends and family. Once you show activity you can apply to form your own club! You have the choice to follow people but keep in mind that you’re “hallway” is formed by the people you follow. Therefore, if you follow negative people your hallway will be negative. If you follow motivational people, you will get inspired. At times you may need to “clean your hallway” to make sure it is aligned with what you want out of the app. Because it is live and interactive, the forum takes you to places you never thought you would go. I found myself unexpectedly moderating a room for people who were learning English! If you are there, come find me on Instagram: @attorneylori.”
