We’re in the year 2022… can you believe it?! We are continuing to survive a global pandemic. We are continuing to rise against challenges we’ve never faced before. We are continuing to show up as our fullest selves and be open to growth. That’s a lot to celebrate, girl. So let’s keep the confetti vibes going with 2022 words of the year.

This is such a special exercise because choosing a word to encapsulate and represent the year you want to manifest will set you up to be resilient— a quality that entrepreneurs need now more than ever.

Be sure to thank these 7 amazing biz owners for sharing in the comments and share your word, too! Would love to celebrate your word and move into this next season together. xo -Gina

7 CEOs Share Their Word for 2022:

“My word for 2022 is “Vision.” It’s a reminder to go back to my vision each and every day and to help clients define and own their vision as well. Without vision, there’s no leadership (in my mind!), because a leader’s primary responsibility is to set a vision and to help their community achieve it.

Women are redefining what it means to work and live (not work to live)! The 9-5 is dying and we can create businesses that compliment our lives and enrich other’s lives and not have to “bow down” to the status quo and work for corporations (unless that is your thing and you want to, to each their own!). The future of work is the freelancer and it allows for a new level of leadership, income, and societal change that we haven’t seen yet.”

“My word for 2022 is “Embrace.” I chose it because the pandemic has been a reminder that there’s so much uncertainty in life and in business. Also, two of my on-going practices are to live in the moment and to always search for joy. This word is going to be my North Star for 2022. I’m ready to embrace everything headed my way, to stay flexible & driven, and to focus on my ‘why’ in the New Year!”

“2022 is going to be the year of “joy.” I’ll be welcoming my new baby girl early in the year and plan on enjoying time with her while also focusing on all aspects of life. 2022 will be a year full of joy. Business will look new and focus on joy.”

“Integrity. This year is all about living, speaking, and being aligned with what feels right in my heart. It also means following through on promises.”

I have a phrase: “Anything is Possible.” I feel like I’ve allowed my short term circumstances to sell myself short when I can literally do anything. I also have way more clarity to dare to ask for what may currently seem “impossible.”

May 2022 be our breakout, most successful year! The word I chose is “Intention” because I’ve had a lot of up and downs (personal, financial & professional) these past 2 years, but I realized that no matter what, I kept going. I kept doing everything because nothing could derail me from what I intend to do in life.

“My word is "enough." Because I am and so are all of you. Sometimes we get discouraged based on the feedback we receive on our work and may take it personal. Don't base you self worth on someone else's opinion of you or what/how you do something. There are plenty of folk who appreciate all you do and a grateful to work with you.”
