Mugs Monday with Kamina Wust
Hiya, Babes! I hope you had a refreshing weekend. Are you ready to meet this week’s Mugs Monday interviewee? Her name is Kamina Wust. She’s a Copywriting extraordinaire from Brisbane, Australia and her business is called We Write You. I met her in the Facebook group The Creative Lady Collective. Not only have I really enjoyed her business insight & sharp wit, but I live to try the chocolate shop she mentions below! I think you’ll love her taste in pop music, Sunday activities, & sweets. ;) Enjoy her words & stay boss. xx

What’s in your mug? Very black coffee. I’m in love with my Aeropress.
Do you prefer late nights or early mornings? Early mornings! I love the feeling of working when nobody else is awake.
What’s a song that immediately puts you in a great mood? Any kind of trashy, old-school pop. I’m big into Kesha’s Tik Tok (again) this week. I learned all the words so I can sing it from start to finish when I’m home alone.
What’s your favorite movie? Sophisticated answer: Hitchcock’s Rear Window. Guilty pleasure answer: Ocean’s 11. I have literally watched that movie all the way through, gone right back to the start and watched it again. I've seen it probably 20 times.
What’s your favorite place to meet for coffee? I’m lucky to live in a city with a fantastic coffee culture. One of my favorite spots is a little joint called John Mills Himself. It’s hidden in an alleyway underneath a glorious used bookstore, and it becomes a cocktail bar at night.
What's your favorite shop/boutique to treat yo'self or a friend? I'm not a shopper, but I could easily spend $50 at the Noosa Chocolate Factory store. The chocolate is made fresh and delivered every single day and it is TO DIE FOR. I’m obsessed with the vegan rocky road, which also comes in the form of hot chocolate.
What’s your favorite brunch spot? Brunch is my favorite meal! Instead of buying it, I love to make it and picnic by the river. We have great riverside parks in town and my friends and I have a semi-annual tradition of doing a picnic brunch with beer. We call it beer-unch.
What’s a goal you have for your business this year? The dream I wrote down for 2018 is ‘big jobs, good routine, no overwhelm’. Isn’t that what everybody wants?
What are your words to live by? “By the time the wise woman has found the bridge, the crazy woman has crossed the water.” -Turkish Proverb
