Mugs Monday with Claire Price
Happy Mugs Monday, babes! I hope you spent your weekend surrounded by the love & support of your friends. Oh! And that there was bubbly involved. ;) I’m excited to introduce you to Claire Price of CTP Creative. She’s a Designer from Texas who’s living in London after her husband’s job brought them to the U.K. two years ago. Claire is kind & talented, and her favorite places in London are going to make you want to hop on a place right now. Have fun getting to know her xx

What’s in your mug? Single shot americano. I like it a little weak so I can trick myself into thinking 3-4 cups isn't so bad for me...(yikes, I know!)
Do you prefer late nights or early mornings? Early mornings. If I don't start my day on time and with energy, all productivity is lost. I am reminded of this the hard way at least once a week.
What’s a song that immediately puts you in a great mood? Frank Sinatra's "Come fly with Me". My favorite song lyric of all time is "if you could use some exotic booze, there's a bar in far Bombay." Doesn't the thought of flying (back in time) to Bombay to go to a bar with Frank Sinatra just make you smile?
What’s your favorite movie? It's a toss up between Casablanca or The Thomas Crown Affair.
What’s your favorite place to meet for coffee? Daylesford on Westbourne Grove or Farm Girl Café.
What's your favorite shop/boutique to treat yo'self or a friend? Liberty. Among all of their beautiful merchandise, they have a sensational little stationery shop that never disappoints.
What’s your favorite brunch spot? Granger & Co. in Notting Hill or The Bluebird on the King's Road.
What’s a goal you have for your business this year? As my business grows and evolves, I’m feeling more of a need to invest in my business in new ways. A primary goal of mine this year is to identify those needs and opportunities for financial investment and to take the leap. As so many of us know, investing more than just time into your small business is a little scary! But change and courage are necessary for growth.
What are your words to live by? "Pride distorts reality." I read these wise words in a Matt Chandler book recently, and their truth hit me so hard. Humility is so key to growth in all areas of life.
Name 3 Boss Babes you admire. Lauren Hooker of Elle & Company Design, Illustrator and Artist Emma Block, and Kadie Smith of Drop Cap Design. Such talented and inspiring ladies whose businesses and work I admire greatly!
