6 Ways to Define and Own Your Niche
Here’s the skinny: 2019 is the year of the niche. Have you heard? Blink twice for ‘yes’. Grab a glass of wine if ‘no’. Ha Kidding (kind of). Put down what you’re working on for a moment and think about your ideal client. Who are you talking to & why? Now is a good time to readjust your messaging so you can make sure you’re resonating.

It’s summer, and what better way to soak it all in than with a little rum? #trickquestion This cocktail can be made with the silver spirit of your choice. The recipe was inspired by the new herbs we have growing in our garden at home.
5 Copywriting Tips to Give Your Homepage a Mini Makeover
Erika Vidal Holmes is a Copywriter Extraordinaire (that’s a real thing!)– she’s also a momma, business owner, & member of our girl gang. The treat she has for you today is making the idea of a homepage revamp something that’s not just possible without pulling all of your gorgeous hair out, but something you’ll find FUN! Her approach to branding yourself through writing for your website is to focus on being clear, being okay with giving away ‘all the good stuff’, & being yourself.

Kindness is the Way to Empowerment
If I only did things that fit within my comfort zone, I would exclusively be watching Bridget Jones' Diary and drinking Peanut Butter Milkshakes on my couch, because that's what comes naturally to me. But I'm open to adding to this shortlist, ha, so I said 'heck yes!' when I was invited to speak at Creative Mornings last Friday about 'Women's Empowerment'. It was a dream scenario and was worth overcoming the anxiety I feel when I need to speak in front of others and now that Iv'e done it, I feel like I've gained 100 courage points!
5 Relationship Building Tips for Business Owners
I was recently asked by the wonderful Christina of Christina Jones Photography to collaborate on a blog & Instagram Live on the topic of #communityovercompetition. I enjoyed the opportunity so much and the ladies who were engaging with our IG Live were complimentary of the tips, so I figured if they were finding them helpful then creating a blog with those tips so more women can utilize them would be a great next step.

Meet Lisa Gilmore of Lisa Gilmore Design!
“Let’s be real— leopard print is a neutral.” This is perhaps the best way to sum up Lisa Gilmore of Lisa Gilmore Design and it’s in her own words, babes! She is bold, colorful (her hair is bright red and she doesn’t need an excuse to wear pink suede shoes), & she’s not afraid to take a leap of faith. Lisa was living in Chicago after graduating from design school when life changed and brought her back to Florida in 2011 when she launched her design firm. Six and a half years later and she’s kicking butt & taking names in a way she never knew was possible for herself.

Meet Jade Timmerman of Jade Timmerman Interiors!
Jade is a coffee-sipping, clean design-loving, person with a sense of calm that follows her wherever she goes. She launched Jade Timmerman Interiors four years ago. The timing we chose to shoot her Member Feature ended up being perfect because she recently moved to a new South Tampa office with lots of natural light. I know you’ll love getting to know Jade as well as hear her out on topics like how she got started, what it’s like being a mom of three & a business owner, and how she developed a niche for herself in the design world.

What I love about these two is not only their ability to work together seamlessly and maintain an amazing, long-lasting friendship, but also their positive energy and eagerness to keep endlessly building on the strong foundation they have for FairyTail.
Kicking Off 2019 with Bubbly + Vision Boards
Being surrounded by likeminded women who are kicking butt in their business, building families, & taking care of themselves is magical. Nobody’s perfect, but getting ambitious, creative, positive energy together to help one another grow is an amazing way to kick off the New Year. We encouraged members to B.Y.O.V., and as you can see from these photos by Jessica Fredericks Photography, they definitely brought some vision to the table. Cheers to 2019!
Meet Tona Bell of The Paper Seahorse!
Tona is the woman with the vision behind The Paper Seahorse, an oasis of paper, journals, letter writing, & crafting in South Tampa. She’s supportive, brilliant, & gives the best hugs. Tona opened The Paper Seahorse in October of 2015, a big departure from her previous role as Co-owner of Tricycle Studios, a marketing agency she launched with her husband over 20 years ago. After working every Sunday for 15 years and working from illness to illness, she landed in the hospital with a bad infection. This was the catalyst for a big change she would make, where she would not only prioritize herself and her health, but she’d also take a big leap & reinvent her life.
Meet Danielle Ferrari of Valhalla Resale!
We’ve all had those “I have nothing to wear moments”, and Danielle has worked hard to create a ‘collective closet’ where we can feel comfortable in our own skin while we shop for unique clothing that we can borrow or purchase. Something many of us might not be aware of is that the fashion industry is the second largest cause of pollution in the world. When Danielle learned this, it led her down a path towards sustainability in all areas of her life.
